About Admire Insecticide

Admire Insecticide is a Bayer CropScience India product. It contains Imidacloprid 70% WG and is a systemic insecticide used for controlling sucking pests in recommended crops.

Admire Insecticide is used against pests such as aphid, jassids, thrips, brown plant hopper, white backed plant hopper and whitefly. It is recommended in cotton, rice paddy, okra, cucumber, tomato and potato.

• Mode of Entry: Systemic
• Mode of Action: Admire contains Imidacloprid, which disturbs the proper signal transmission system in the central nervous system of insects. This leads to excitation of the nerve cell and causes nervous system disorder in the treated insect. Due to this disturbance, the insect eventually dies after treatment.

Admire Insecticide Dosage & Recommended Crops

• Method of Application

Foliar Spray: Apply Admire Insecticide as a uniform foliar spray using the recommended dose and water volume. Use a knapsack, battery or power sprayer with a flat fan nozzle for proper coverage.

• Best Time to Spray

Spray Admire Insecticide when the target pest infestation is noticed in the recommended crop. Prefer spraying in the early morning or late afternoon on a non windy day.

Tank Mix Compatibility

• For field level use, consult an agronomist before tank mixing with other products.

• Do not spray on windy days to prevent spray drift.

• Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry, and well ventilated place away from direct sunlight, food, feed, fertilizers, and water sources. Keep the product in its original sealed container.
